Monday, June 6, 2016 at 8:42AM Thanks to the volunteers who picked up the trash at the Standard Mine on Tug Mountain. Dorothy Heinrichs took the first picture of Pauline and Albert Emerson. Albert took the one of the whole crew. We've added these pictures to the photo albums.
The cleanup took just about an hour, thanks to the large number of volunteers.

Sandi wrote for all of us in offering condolences for Barbara Smith, who passed away recently:
"Among many things, Barbara was active in the election process and the annual Christmas parties and simply a good neighbor and friend of Orange. Barbara had beautiful flower and vegetable gardens of which some of the bounty could be enjoyed at the Canaan Farmers' Market." Monday, May 9, 2016 at 6:12PM Tuesday, May 31, from 7:00 to 7:30 will be your last chance to change party affiiliation before the state primary on September 13. The Orange Supervisors of the Checklist--Laurie Sanborn, Beth DiFrancesco, and Betsy Coble-- will be meeting to correct the checklist. That's when you can switch parties.
