School District Reapportionment
Friday, July 28, 2017 at 4:25PM Sandi sent us the agenda for the Mascoma Valley Regional School District Apportionment Study Subcommittee meeting (whew, that's a mouthful): Monday, July 31 at 6:00pm, in the high school's Center for Personalized Learning Room. The meat of the meeting: "Review apportionment choices using a three-year average formula." That will be followed by public comment.
However it plays out, reapportionment creates financial winners and losers among the valley's towns, and it'll be controversial.
