Last Night's (Short!) Selectboard Meeting

There was a very brief nonpublic session, the board approved the minutes of the 2 May 14^th meetings, reviewed an intent to cut application, a building permit, a reappraisal recommendation and a warrant for the collection of yield taxes.

Betty and Dorothy (Bob was absent) signed certifications of appreciation to Mrs. Landy’s and Mrs. Wilson’s fourth grade Canaan Elementary classes for the veteran’s wreath they made for the town. Look for it at the base of the flag pole outside the Town House. Thanks, too, to Pat Mercer for the lovely geraniums on the steps of the Town House.
