Dave's Moose

Dave Stacy took these pictures of a bull moose visiting a female and her calf in Orange Pond. He says the bull chased mother and young into the pond--it's rutting season, remember--and he took the pictures from the Collins-Laines' dock. Fortunately, the bull didn't seem to see Dave as much of a threat.

Dave adds that the tines and the white face show the bull is an old one--at least 8 years old.
