Disposing Old Drugs

The misuse of prescription drugs is a huge problem.  And drugs are polluting our water supply and ground water. That's why medical professionals say we shouldn't dump old medicines in the trash, flush them down the toilet, or--heaven forbid--give them away.

So on Saturday, July 21, you can take your medicines to the Lebanon Solid Waste Facility on route12A. Disposal is supervised by DHMC in cooperation with local police.

If you miss that date, you'll have another opportunity on Saturday, October 20.

For more information, download this brochure.

We'll also put those dates on the OrangeNH calendar.
