The Artisan Fair Is Coming!

Rosemary Haness sent us this poster, announcing the Cardigan Mountain Art Association Artisan Fair two weekends from now: November 16-17 at the Enfield Community Center. The fair runs 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday. Questions? Call 523-7292.

Got Drugs?

Keep expired prescriptions out of the wrong hands and the water supply. This Saturday the Canaan Police Department will collect unused drugs and dispose of them properly.

Just drop them off at the police HQ between 10 and 2.

Wolf Hybrids Rescued

Our wolf-dog neighbors in Alexandria have been found in rough shape after their owner was evicted from the rental property. The Upper Valley Humane Society told the Valley News that 40 hybrids were found in 20 pens. One was already dead, one died shortly after, and another nine were found beyond hope and euthanized. The remaining 29 have been taken to a rescue center.
