Orange Turbines

This photo shows just the Orange turbines, with fairly realistic renderings of the towers themselves. Again, go to Orangenh.US to see the image.

The temple icon on the bottom of the photo is the Orange Town House (view it at Orangenh.US.) It should give you a better idea of which turbines would be visible from there. Each turbine would be the height of a 50-story building.

Thanks to Ric Werme for sending us the map coordinates for each planned turbine, obtained from the Spruce Ridge Wind Project's FAA application. (If you can't see the picture, go to the Orange website.) Feel free to share this photo. The rocky place in the center bottom is the summit of Cardigan; the temple graphic next to "Orange" is the Town House.

Don't forget the Planning Board meeting, 7 pm tomorrow (Tuesday, December 16) in the Orange Town House! They'll be discussing the planned turbines and the Town's reponse.
